Test transmission of DAB+ digital radio in Croatia, which began on 20th November 2017, was officially completed on 15th January 2022. The process of transition to commercial work began in November last year after the HAKOM tender and the decision granting the OIV the license to use the radio frequency spectrum for the DAB+ multiplex MUX 1 for a period of 15 years. In the same month, the first phase of construction of the network was completed, and more than 90% of the Croatian population is currently within the range of the digital radio signal.
